Strategic Lens — Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · effective 10 July 2026
Strategic Lens is a Chrome extension that, on your request, generates three
strategic questions about the content of the page you are reading. This policy explains
what data is processed and why.
1. Controller
Maciej Żywno. Contact: ai.maciej.zywno@gmail.com.
2. What data is processed, and when
The extension acts only when you click ("Ask 3 questions about this page").
Nothing is sent in the background or automatically.
- Sent when you click: the main text of the page you are reading, its URL,
its title, and an anonymous install identifier (a random UUID, not linked to your
identity) — to our backend (Supabase, EU region), which forwards the text to Anthropic's
Claude language-model API to compose the questions.
- Stored in our database: the URL, page title, generated questions, install
identifier, and number of tokens used. We do not store the page content.
- Kept locally on your device (chrome.storage.local): the install identifier,
your settings, and your reactions to questions ("struck me" / "don't get it"). This data
never leaves your device.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or share data with third parties (other than the processors in section 4).
- No ads, no profiling, no tracking of your browsing history.
- We collect no account data, emails, or passwords. The extension requires no sign-in.
4. Processors
- Supabase (backend and database hosting, EU region — Frankfurt).
- Anthropic (Claude model API — generating questions from the submitted text),
per Anthropic's privacy policy.
5. Retention
Query-history records are deleted after 12 months.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your data. Because
the install identifier is anonymous, please include it with any request (you can find it in the
extension's settings). Requests: the email in section 1.
7. Changes to this policy
We will announce material changes in the extension's description and at this address.
